A young boy from Wisconsin, so far away from here, heard a strong voice saying, "You can calm their fears."
You can lead them, you can teach them...bring them closer to the Lord
And the boy, he listened carefully, so strong without a sword.

And we thank you for your guidance, we thank you for your love.
We give thanks for sharing blessings, the gifts from up above.
And we thank you for the things you've done, and things you've yet to do.
And most of all, we thank you Pastor, now your light shines through.

And he leads us, and he teaches us, of Jesus and the ways
We can lead and teach our loved ones to be kind and safe always
And he blesses little children, their love he has secured
And with praise and admiration, this day we grant him laud.

On moment grows to many years, he touches one and all
The spirit light is within him and shines before the call
And we thank you for your guidance, we thank you for your love.
