God has placed on parents the primary responsibility to educate their children. St. Luke Preschool is designed to assist parents by providing a Christian Early Childhood Program where children are helped to grow, learn, and develop physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually.

to provide an environment which supports the growth of the whole child in developmentally appropriate ways. to help children experience and learn about God's love to encourage children to acquire self-esteem, concern for others, a sense of community and a spirit of sharing to foster creativity, exploration, self-discipline, and a love of learning
*History*
Established in 1966, St. Luke Preschool is located on 5.9 acres on Candlewood Path and Vanderbilt Parkway in Dix Hills, in the Education Building, built in 1970. Part of the church ministry, children are admitted from any race, color, nationality and ethnic origin, and need not be church members. The staff of St. Luke is dedicated to providing a loving, warm, caring, comfortable and educational setting for the children. The curriculum includes academics, music, religious instruction (chapel) and stimulation through books, toys, trips, class projects and crafts. Most importantly, everyone has fun!
